I do wonder what makes a post go up into the 25 most popular entries. I have a feeling it has to do with the urls you included that are leading to some posts that have high traffic or had high traffic in the past.

The same thing happened at the Snitch when the Special Edition for Lily Evans Potter made it to top LJ post for a few hours. We definitely did not have that kind of traffic, but we linked to a rather controversial meta post about Lily. And that at one time had had a lot of traffic.
