Here's where I have to embarrassingly admit that I haven't read "Black Coffee" (see above where I mention that coffee house AUs aren't my thing). I've seen it recced everywhere, and I keep meaning to read it (and I love femme's fics too!) it's just that I mostly don't enjoy non-magical AUs, so every time I think "maybe I'll read this now" I put it off and read something else.

I have literally read over a thousand fics but not that one. I'm terrible.
