This is a great post. So many wonderful fics on this list; loads of my favourites and also quite a few I haven't read. *Adds them to the ever-growing list.* At some point I will find time for them all.
Also "Starts With A Spin" was a real flash back to the past for me. I originally read it when it as it was being published all those years ago and I'd forgotten all about it. I'm pretty convinced I read it on ff.net actually, but it doesn't seem to be there now and the author only mentions publishing on LJ so I might have imagined that part!
For the 'Unknown Identity' trope I quite like "When It Alteration Finds" by Momatu over on ff.net. In the story neither of them recognises the other and although it is set in the magical world and compliant up to the epilogue Harry actually owns a muggle bakery/coffee shop so sort of works for that trope too.
