The list is just based on my opinions, and I'm sure that not everyone will agree - I don't expect them to! Though it's often the case that other people have recced these fics too of course.
I called it "the best of..." mostly because I thought it would attract more hits and come up in more google searches that way. It's just me being self-promotional. There was some spirited discussion about it in the comments of this post yesterday.
