So like everyone else, I backed up my LJ to DW. Trying out this cross-posting thing now.

So it seems like LJ "friends" = DW "circle" ? And after I ported over, I now have a bunch of open-IDs listed in my "circle". I thought that these would convert into their LJ-equivalents when people crossed over, but that doesn't seem to be happening?

Example: [personal profile] oakstone730 is an LJ friend. Last night I imported everything to DW and saw her name as an openID account in my circle. This morning I saw her post about moving to DW and officially "subscribed" to her DW account. And now I've got her listed as both her DW account and her openID account in my circle. Am I doing it wrong?

I have no idea how to do it either! I saw you listed in my profile as 'also has access from' and I clicked on 'Subscribe' and 'Give Access To' but you show up in a different spot than DIG and Divertasz so I don't know whY???

I think that you have to "claim" your openID account...I think

OpenID relates to LJ accounts, so it's completely separate from DW accounts even if both have the same name.
